Role title

    Junior AWS connect developer

 

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing, designing, maintaining, and enhancing the cloud infrastructure of web applications and overseeing the maintenance of the most satisfactory AWS architecture following the needs of Fujitsu Global Delivery.

He/she is a professional individual that possesses profound understanding of the core AWS services and ensures the application of best practices in relation to security and scalability.

One of the core tasks is to examine and have adequate understanding of the current application infrastructure of Fujitsu Global Delivery and coming up with recommendations and suggestions to change and/or improve it.

Education

  • Technical Diploma on  Computer Science or 5 years of experience in development or devops roles.

Training

  • English Proficiency (oral and written skills, CEFR B2 above)
  • AWS Solution Architect prefered
  • Saba Training in: CompTIA® A+, CompTIA® Security + (as required training for Information Security)
  • Saba  Mandatory Information Security Compliance

 

Experience

  • Setting up, managing, maintaining, and evolving the cloud infrastructure of web applications.
  • Examine and have adequate understanding of cloud application infrastructure.

Key Accountabilities

  • AWS Connect administration.
  • Authority.  Provides technical input to the business approval process (with support from team colleagues) to make a recognized technical contribution to business approval meetings.
  • Responsible for developing, designing, maintaining, and enhancing the cloud infrastructure of web applications.
  • Cost and risk. Specifies work packages and estimates (being aware of cost impact of design decisions) providing input to management on technical risks and remedies, and proposing acceptance method, with guidance where required.
  • Business development. Identifies enhancements and/or opportunities to contribute to winning the business.
  • Requirements and design. Defines solutions, which may be based on a re-used solution type containing significant solution component re-use.
  • Knowledge re-use. Shares knowledge with colleagues to make a useful contribution to Fujitsu’s knowledge base.
  • Responsible for identifying, implementing, and overseeing the maintenance of the most satisfactory AWS architecture following the needs of Fujitsu Global Delivery.
  • Oversee and manage the process of designing, developing, and setting-up ideal AWS cloud solutions.
  • Examine and have adequate understanding of the current application infrastructure of Fujitsu Global Delivery and coming up with recommendations and suggestions to change and/or improve it.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all AWS development projects.
  • Train, mentor and manage Jr cloud developers as well as external and/or internal consultants and vendors.
