Your Role 

 

As an HR Business Partner / People Partner (f/m/d), you will be a key member of our local HR team in Germany. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on complex operational and strategic matters. Working closely with the Strategic HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise (CoEs), you will ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies and priorities. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the operational People agenda for a defined area of responsibility, deliver high-quality HR services, support the effective execution of our HR strategy, and continuously improve HR processes. You will work with a high degree of autonomy within defined guidelines, make well-informed decisions in complex and ambiguous situations, and use your recognized expertise to make an important contribution to the continued development of our HR practices.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leaders and employees on employment law, HR-related, and collective employment matters
  • Act as the escalation point for complex HR, Employee Relations, and works council matters
  • Provide advice and act as a sparring partner on performance, talent, leadership, conflict, and return-to-work cases
  • Implement the HR strategy and prioritized initiatives within your area of responsibility
  • Collaborate closely with Strategic HR Business Partners and CoEs to effectively translate global HR priorities into the German organization
  • Design and implement initiatives to improve the employee experience and employee engagement
  • Take responsibility for the local implementation of global and international HR projects
  • Lead the people-related implementation of transformations, restructurings, and organizational changes
  • Enable and coach leaders and support less experienced HR colleagues in handling complex cases
  • Lead small to medium-sized HR projects or workstreams
  • Further develop and optimize country-specific HR processes and frameworks
  • Use HR data and People Insights to analyze risks, support decision-making, and improve processes
  • Contribute to standards, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the HR community in Germany

 

Your Profile

 

  • A university degree, for example in Business Administration, Psychology, HR Management, or Business Psychology, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of substantial experience as an HR professional in Germany
  • Very good knowledge of German employment law and experience working with works councils, including experience with complex collective employment matters
  • An independent, structured, and proactive approach, combined with strong decision-making skills and the ability to take effective action
  • Strong communication, advisory, and negotiation skills
  • A trustworthy, empathetic, and confident manner
  • The ability to analyze complex matters and develop pragmatic, well-founded solutions
  • Confidence in working with People Analytics, HR data, and metrics
  • Experience in project work and process optimization
  • Fluency in German and good to very good English skills
