Job Summary:
The Business Continuity Manager will collaborate with department directors and the executive team to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address, and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions.
Responsibilites
Partner with the Infrastructure and Information Security teams in identification of mission critical assets and guide team in implementing their disaster recovery analysis and planning across the company
Develops and maintains a business recovery plan and procedure; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols.
Conducts BCP risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breach, legal claims, and market disruptions.
Identifies and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.
Creates and facilitates practice drills for plan execution.
Develops and provides staff training on risk management and disaster recovery.
Works with health, safety, and security staff and local, state, and federal agencies to align the organizations emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards.
Developing and executing crisis management plans, conducting risk assessments, leading response efforts, coordinating communications with internal and external stakeholders, and training staff on emergency procedures
Evaluate the effectiveness of crisis management strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct post-crisis reviews, reports, and provide recommendations for future enhancements.

Education and Experience
Understanding of BCMS standards like ISO 22301 or Certified BCMS or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) , Experience in managing complex, fast-paced crises.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar field required; Masters degree preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or related risk assessment
