About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to play a key role in the transition of our existing reporting dashboards from a current environment to a new cloud-based platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant data modernization initiative, moving our entire suite of dashboards from Power BI to Qlik Sense.

We are looking to fill two immediate start positions, each with an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

· Dashboard Transition: Support the migration and re-development of existing Power BI dashboards into the new Qlik Sense environment.

· Data Integration: Work with various data sources to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy within the new dashboards.

· Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, interactive reporting dashboards in Qlik Sense (after initial training).

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective dashboard solutions.

· Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for dashboards, data models, and transition processes.

· Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and resolve issues and optimize dashboard performance.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

· Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of developed dashboards and reports.

· Expertise in data modelling, DAX, within Power BI.

· Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

· Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement them effectively.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

· Immediate availability for a 12-month contract.

Desirable (Training will be provided if not present):

· Knowledge and hands-on experience with Qlik Sense, including Qlik Sense scripting, data modelling, set analysis, and visualization best practices.

· Experience with cloud platforms specifically AWS

· Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
