Key Accountabilities

  • Owns end-to-end production of video content for marketing campaigns, web, social, tradeshows, internal communications, and executive messaging.
  • Operates independently with strong technical judgment; owns complex production and post-production deliverables end-to-end and may provide technical guidance to partners/vendors during studio, field, and live-event executions.
  • Partners with copywriters, designers, program managers, and technical SMEs to develop concepts, storyboards, and production plans that meet objectives and timelines.
  • Leads studio and field production: camera operation (including multi-camera as needed), lighting setup, and professional audio capture with appropriate redundancy.
  • Provides technical direction for live-streamed internal events and broadcasts, including pre-production planning, rehearsal support, switching/encoding workflows, and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Executes advanced post-production editing with minimal oversight (edit, color correction, audio cleanup/mix, graphics integration) and deliver final masters optimized by channel and specification.
  • Owns video publishing and distribution across enterprise hosting and streaming platforms, including metadata entry, thumbnail selection, version control, and quality assurance.
  • Maintains brand alignment and quality standards across all externally facing video deliverables, regardless of where content is produced.
  • Contributes to production schedules, resource estimates, and budget inputs; proactively communicate risks, tradeoffs, and solutions.
  • Drives continuous improvement of production workflows, templates, and technical standards to increase speed, consistency, and quality.

Desired Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video/Film/Media, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated professional production experience (beyond entry level) with ownership of projects from pre-production through delivery.
  • Strong hands-on capability in camera operation, studio/field lighting, and audio capture (lav/boom/board feeds), including setting levels and monitoring quality. Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro required; After Effects and Audition strongly preferred) and disciplined media/project organization.
  • Experience supporting live streaming or broadcast-style event production (e.g., switching/encoding workflows, run-of-show execution, and signal-flow troubleshooting) preferred.
  • Familiarity with video distribution platforms (e.g., YouTube, Wistia, Microsoft Stream (on SharePoint)) and export optimization by channel/spec.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work directly with technical SMEs and translate complex inputs into clear visual narratives.
  • Strong project/time management and consistent follow-through in a fast-paced, service-oriented creative environment.
  • Actively stays current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and production trends, applying that knowledge to continuously improve creative quality, efficiency, and outcomes.
