This position is part of the 1Finity Global sales team tasked with developing new business in North American Tier 1 Carrier’s Access, Metro, and Long-Distance networks. 1Finity is a leading supplier in this space. This position will be focused on strengthening and expanding this area for 1Finity with an established key Tier 1 account.
This position will team with 1Finity’s Client Executives to develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders and to define and drive requirements that meet customer needs. The candidate will work closely with the carrier’s planning and architecture leads and therefore must have a strong technical background. The candidate must have deep experience in optical transport technology, architectures and complementary network technologies.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within customer’s planning, architecture, and operations teams to create new sales opportunities for 1Finity
2. Articulate the business value of 1Finity solutions to decision makers and influencers
3. Shape the requirements and timing of technology and architecture decisions within the Tier 1 carrier’s network to align with 1Finity’s solutions
4. Communicate and drive customer requirements within 1Finity’s photonics business units, commercial management, and sales leadership to ensure they align with customers’ needs
Requirements:
1. Technical Degree
2. 5+ years’ experience selling Network solutions and/or leading new product/solution introduction
3. Experience selling to Tier 1 Service Providers
4. Strong technical sales and presentation skills
5. Strong communication and organizational skills
6. Self-directed, motivated, high energy and a passion for finding and developing new business opportunities
As we are looking for a remote position, the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. 1Finity aligns salaries to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $119,700 to $214,000 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
