About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and entrepreneurial Leader of MVP Development to build and lead a new team focused on transforming breakthrough research into real-world solutions. You will be responsible for recruiting and managing a team of 10–12 cross-functional experts, and for driving rapid MVP cycles (3–4 months) that convert research lab technologies— particularly in AI, data and security—into testable, high-quality software deliverables, i.e. beta release for our customers and partners. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise in AI and enterprise software, with a strong track record of delivering fast, impactful innovation in ambiguous and dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Building & Leadership
• Define hiring needs and lead the recruitment of a new 10–12 person team (engineers, product managers, designers).
• Establish team structure, workflows, and delivery culture optimized for speed and quality.
• Provide mentorship, performance guidance, and promote a strong innovation culture.
MVP Execution
• Communicate with the team in the U.S. to understand the MVP selection criteria, product strategy, and decided spec. Develop the plan for the
assigned MVP to work on.
• Lead the full MVP lifecycle from concept to delivery in 3–4 month timeframe.
• Work with research teams to translate advanced prototypes into marketrelevant MVPs.
• Apply lean product development and agile practices to ensure rapid iteration, validation, and learning.
Technical Strategy & Delivery
• Provide hands-on leadership and architectural guidance, especially in AI/ML (e.g., LLMs, generative AI, computer vision).
• Ensure technical excellence, scalability, and quality across all MVPs.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the cycle.
• Deliver all the technical documents.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Communicate with the U.S. team to clearly understand the requirements, strategy, timeline, and priority.
• Align MVP selection and delivery with product strategy and roadmap.
• Serve as a bridge between researchers, developers, and business teams to ensure feasibility and impact.
• Report progress and key insights to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in software or product development, including 3+ years in AI/ML-focused roles.
• 3+ years of team leadership or management experience, with demonstrated success building and scaling teams.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies, tools, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong track record of delivering MVPs or prototypes in compressed timeframes (3–4 months).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Comfortable working with ambiguity, new technologies, and iterative experimentation.
Preferred Qualifications
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
• Experience bridging research and commercialization in a tech transfer, lab, or innovation environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps, and secure AI deployment best practices.
