We are looking to fill this position at the earliest possible date.

What responsibilities can you expect?

• Position Fujitsu as a trusted solutions partner for public sector customers.
• Contribute to solution design and the implementation of customer requirements within the strategic portfolio area of long-term digital archiving.
• Independently implement and further develop solution components based on our architecture.
• Take shared responsibility for the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating within a small team from user stories and architecture design through to implementation.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and user manuals.
• Work independently while taking ownership of defined project responsibilities.

What qualifications should you bring?

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering, particularly in the design, development, and maintenance of business applications and IT systems.
• Several years of experience as an application developer in distributed organizations, processes, and IT environments, including application and data migration projects.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a confident and professional manner.
• Resilience, teamwork skills, and willingness to travel within Germany.
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills.
• Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with the following technologies:

• Java Spring Boot
• An established JavaScript framework, ideally Vue.js and Nuxt.js
• TypeScript for frontend development
• Java build tools such as Maven
• Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Container orchestration using SUSE Rancher
• Database systems such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• CI/CD environments based on Bitbucket or comparable tools
• Microsoft Azure Cloud

In addition, you bring:

• Practical experience in software development as well as interface design and development in microservices environments.
• Practical experience with cloud-based software development and microservices architecture.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and usability principles.
• Knowledge of:
• Project Management
• Requirements Engineering
• Agile Software Development
• Software Architecture Design and Implementation (SOA, Microservices)
