We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Communication & Documentation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging communication gaps between our Japanese and English-speaking teams, ensuring clear, accurate, and efficient information flow. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional language proficiency, strong documentation skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Language & Communication:
- Facilitate seamless communication through strong Japanese to English language proficiency (spoken, written, and comprehension).
- Actively participate in complex Japanese business and operational discussions, providing effective interpretation and communication.
- Conduct accurate and nuanced Japanese to English translation of various documents, communications, and technical materials.
- Documentation & SOP Development:
- Develop, write, and maintain clear, structured, and comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with minimal supervision.
- Create and manage other essential documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) proficiently for all documentation and reporting needs.
- Collaboration & Initiative:
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrate a proactive learning attitude, continuously striving to improve language proficiency and job-related skills.
- Take initiative in identifying and implementing best practices for communication and documentation processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Language Proficiency:
- Strong Japanese to English language proficiency (spoken, written, and comprehension) is essential.
- JLPT N3 certification is required.
- JLPT N2 / N1 certification is a strong advantage.
- Experience:
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience in Japanese to English communication, translation, and documentation.
- Proven ability to create clear and structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Proven ability to develop standardized documentation.
- Proactive learner with a strong sense of initiative.
