About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Project Leader to support the successful delivery of hardware deployment projects. Working closely with Project Managers, customers, suppliers, and delivery teams, you will coordinate project activities, maintain project governance and reporting, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised project professional who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and contributing to successful customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Leader, you will:

  • Support Project Managers in delivering agreed project outcomes and business objectives.
  • Coordinate project activities including scheduling, resource planning, site readiness, implementation, and deployment activities.
  • Facilitate effective communication between customers, suppliers, delivery teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items against agreed plans.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, financial records, forecasts, timesheets, and project artefacts.
  • Support project governance activities including reporting, planning, forecasting, documentation management, and meeting coordination.
  • Assist with risk, issue, change, and dependency management, escalating items where required.
  • Coordinate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and project communications while ensuring actions are documented and followed through.
  • Maintain project schedules and support resource coordination across delivery teams.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and project records.
  • Provide regular project updates to Project Managers, customers, and delivery stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and collaborative working environment.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Experience supporting the delivery of hardware deployment projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate project activities and contribute to successful project outcomes.
  • Experience in project administration, reporting, scheduling, and documentation management.
  • Understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, and cost management principles.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation and document management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify, track, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, governance, and delivery frameworks.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in changing project and customer environments.

 

Desirable

  • Experience working with suppliers, vendors, and third-party delivery partners.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and service management practices.
  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Project Officer, or similar project delivery role.
