Role Overview
The Senior SAP SuccessFactors Learning (LMS) Consultant is responsible for delivering functional expertise, configuration, production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
The role works closely with HR, Learning & Development, HRIS, IT, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure that the SuccessFactors Learning platform effectively supports organizational learning, compliance, certification, and employee development requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP SuccessFactors Learning Functional Expertise
- Provide senior-level functional expertise across SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
- Configure and maintain the Learning Management System according to business requirements.
- Support the complete learning lifecycle from course creation through completion and reporting.

- Scheduled Offerings
- Classes and sessions

- Resources
- Assignment Profiles

- Approval workflows
- Ensure LMS configuration follows SAP best practices and customer standards.
2. Managed Services & Production Support
- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
- Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and minor enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and identify permanent solutions.
- Ensure resolution of issues within agreed SLA/OLA timelines.
- Monitor recurring incidents and proactively identify potential problems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and known errors.
- Act as an escalation point for complex LMS issues.
3. Assignment Profiles & Learning Automation
- Design, configure, and maintain Assignment Profiles.
- Automate learning assignments based on:
- Job role
- Department
- Location
- Organization
- Employee attributes
- User groups
- Troubleshoot incorrect, missing, or duplicate learning assignments.
- Configure recurring and retraining requirements.
- Support mass assignment and learning administration activities.
- Validate employee data and its impact on automated learning assignments.
4. Learning Content Management
- Support the administration and delivery of online learning content.
- Troubleshoot SCORM/AICC content issues.
- Investigate problems relating to:
- Content launch
- Completion status
- Scores
- Progress tracking
- Learning history
- Coordinate with external content providers where required.
- Support content updates, testing, and deployment.
- Assist with content migration and validation activities.
Required Experience
Essential
- 5+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience, with significant hands-on experience in SuccessFactors Learning.
- Strong experience in SAP SuccessFactors LMS configuration and administration.
- Experience supporting SuccessFactors Learning in a production/Managed Services environment.
- Strong knowledge of:

- ITIL certification or practical ITIL experience.
