Role Purpose:

The SAP Program Manager will lead end-to-end SAP program delivery within the manufacturing domain, overseeing multiple project streams across production, supply chain, and logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring successful program execution—on time, within budget, and aligned with business strategy and global manufacturing standards.

The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and implementation partners, ensuring SAP solutions enable operational efficiency, standardization, and scalability across the manufacturing landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Governance

• Lead complex, multi-phase SAP programs across global manufacturing sites.
• Establish governance frameworks, steering committees, and project management standards.
• Oversee project portfolios, ensuring dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are tracked and reported effectively.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with senior business leaders from Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance.
• Manage external system integrators, vendors, and internal delivery teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Facilitate executive steering committee meetings, program reporting, and risk reviews.

Financial & Resource Management

• Manage program budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation across internal and external teams.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls and timely delivery within approved budgets.

Change & Communication

• Lead organizational change management and training initiatives across manufacturing entities.
• Develop and execute communication plans to support adoption and stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills & Experience:

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• SAP certification in Production planning / Manufacturing or SAP Activate.

Professional Experience:

• 7 to 10+ years of SAP project delivery experience, including at least 5 years in a Program Management role.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP programs in the Manufacturing industry (discrete or process manufacturing).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes—production planning, shop floor execution, quality control, and maintenance.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills at CxO and operational levels.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional, multi-country teams in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in English (additional European languages an advantage).
