The Senior Sales Lead is a senior salesperson within our Infrastructure Solutions team focusing on our portfolio to sell hardware and software from our trusted vendor partners.
This role is based in Canberra, and success depends on strong Defence and Federal government sector relationships, long-term partnership development, and collaboration across internal stakeholders and our partner ecosystem to grow Fujitsu's presence.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Lead complex deal negotiations, including multi-million-dollar contracts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Fujitsu's objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Delivery, Operations, and Marketing to create customized solutions for enterprise clients.
- Build strong institutional partnerships with customers and partners to ensure long-term success.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements to position Fujitsu as a trusted advisor in the enterprise space.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting new opportunities, qualifying leads, and ensuring accurate forecasting.
- Represent Fujitsu at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote the company capabilities and value proposition
About you
- 10+ years of sales experience preferable with a focus on hardware and software solutions particularly in a Defence and Federal Government environment.
- Deep knowledge of the IT market in order to provide the most current solutions to potential clients.
- A strong network, and networking skills with the ability to effectively communicate through to the C-suite level.
- Ability to build and maintain an effective sales pipeline and provide data for accurate and timely monthly forecasting.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen in order to deliver quality proposals to the customer, ensuring stakeholders are engaged, pricing is accurate, language and branding are consistent with Fujitsu standards
- NV1 Security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain and be cleared)
