Role:Technical Services Engineer Practitioner_Bangalore 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS & EDUCATION

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001).

  • Proficiency with security tools (SIEM, EDR, Web Proxy, Vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools).

  • Knowledge of incident response methodologies.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and application security.

  • ISO 27001:2022 LA/ LI and any of the industry standard certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.

  • Exposure to Cloud Security, AI Security would be preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent education in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Security Strategy & Program Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security program aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, ISO 27701, GDPR).

  • Establish and implement information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures with respective to Fujitsu’s Global directions.

  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Define and track key security metrics and report on the overall security posture of the organization.

  • Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and regulations.

Security Operations:

  • Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.

  • Manage security tools and technologies such (e.g., SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP).

  • Lead and coordinate security incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.

  • Manage vulnerability scanning and penetration testing programs, and track remediation efforts.

  • Ensure timely patching and configuration management of systems and applications.

Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant information security laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance as per Fujitsu’s Global Security directives and closely align with HQ guidelines.

  • Prepare for and facilitate internal and external security audits.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and controls.

  • Work with legal and compliance teams to address data privacy and protection requirements.

Security Architecture & Engineering:

  • Provide security guidance and requirements for new projects, systems, and applications.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement secure architectures.

  • Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions.

Awareness & Training:

  • Develop and deliver information security awareness training programs for all employees and respective functions/ Business units based on demand/ need.

  • Promote a culture of security consciousness throughout the organization.

Team Leadership & Management (if applicable) - 2-5 members:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals.

  • Conduct performance reviews and foster professional development.

  • Delegate tasks and manage team workload effectively.

Vendor Management:

  • Periodically assess and manage the security risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers.

  • Review and amend security clauses in vendor contracts.
