Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Consultant with strong hands-on experience in both Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud environments. This role will be responsible for the development, implementation, and support of technical solutions, including integrations, custom applications, and extensions. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background covering Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle APEX, and traditional EBS RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows). While primarily a hands-on development role, strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with functional teams, clients, and technical leads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Development & Implementation:
• Perform hands-on development and implementation of technical solutions based on functional and technical design specifications.
• Actively participate in the full project lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC):
• Develop, configure, and test integrations between Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Cloud, and various third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Utilize OIC pre-built adapters, orchestrations, and connections to build robust and efficient data flows.
• Implement error handling and monitoring for integrations.
• Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS):
• Develop and customize web and mobile applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to create custom forms, dashboards, and extensions for Oracle Fusion applications.
• Work with VBCS components, data sources, and business objects to meet specific user interface requirements.
• Oracle APEX:
• Develop and maintain custom applications and reports using Oracle APEX, primarily in support of EBS environments or specific client needs.
• Work with APEX pages, regions, items, and processes to deliver required functionalities.
• Oracle AI/ML (Awareness):
• Understand the basic concepts and potential applications of Oracle's Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning services within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
• Participate in discussions about how AI/ML could enhance existing solutions or develop new ones.
• Oracle EBS - RICEW Development:
• Develop, customize, and maintain RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) objects for Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and SQL queries.
• Develop and modify Oracle Reports, BI Publisher reports, Oracle Forms, Workflow Builder processes, OA Framework pages, and/or ADF components.
• Technical Documentation & Testing:
• Prepare detailed technical design documents, unit test plans, and other project documentation.
• Execute unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during all phases of the project.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, technical leads, project managers, and client IT teams.
• Communicate technical issues, progress, and solutions clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to development standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle applications development and technical consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience with both Oracle EBS (R12 preferred) and Oracle Fusion Cloud technical environments.
• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) development.
• Proficiency in Oracle APEX application development.
• Solid understanding and hands-on development experience with Oracle EBS RICEW, including PL/SQL, SQL, BI Publisher, and at least one of Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Workflow Builder, OA Framework, or ADF.
• Awareness of Oracle AI/ML capabilities.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Java (for OIC/ADF extensions) and JavaScript (for VBCS) is highly desirable.
• Understanding of web services (REST, SOAP), XML, and JSON.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Soft Skills:

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves):

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) basic knowledge.
• Oracle Certifications in OIC, VBCS, APEX, or relevant Oracle EBS technologies.
• Experience with data migration techniques and tools.
• Exposure to DevOps practices in an Oracle environment.
