FRIPL MSBU team invites applications for an apprentice position in 5G Radio Access Network development activities.
As an apprentice with FRIPL, you will gain hands-on experience in modern technologies like 5G in gNB, vRAN, vCU, vDU product R&D. You will gain experience in product development in real-world telecom networks. Training and mentorship from experienced professionals in wireless technology and Software design and development.
Responsibilities:
•Contribute to software development and testing of 5G RAN functions – RRC/PDCP /SDAP/ others.
•Coding in C/C++ , python for developing & testing features on the RAN products
•Understand 3gpp specs and apply them in implementation
•
Eligibility criteria:
•B. Tech./ M. Tech. in ECE, C. Sc., or similar streams with score of 7 GPA or equivalent 70%
•Proficiency in C/C++, Python
•Good communication skills
•Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
•Good analytical skills
•Basic understanding of telecom fundamentals & networking
•
Preferred skills ( optional):
•Familiarity with 3gpp specs
•Certification or coursework in telecom (4G/ 5G)
•Experience in socket programming or real time systems
•Basic knowledge of virtualization – docker/Kubernetes
•
