Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Specialist/Consultant to join our dynamic ServiceNow team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow EAM solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Operational Technology (OT) Asset Management principles, strong technical acumen in the ServiceNow platform, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Configuration: Lead and participate in the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow EAM modules, including Asset Lifecycle Management, Contract Management, Procurement, Stockroom Management, and Maintenance Management.
- Solution Design: Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient EAM solutions on the ServiceNow platform, aligning with business requirements and best practices.
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for EAM processes.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within asset management workflows, leveraging ServiceNow EAM capabilities.
- Integration: Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow EAM and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CMMS, Discovery tools, HRIS) using various integration methods (e.g., REST API, SOAP, Import Sets, MID Server).
- Customization & Development: Perform configuration and customization of ServiceNow EAM modules, including creating/modifying forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and reports.
- Data Migration: Develop strategies and execute data migration activities from legacy systems into ServiceNow EAM.
- Testing: Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the quality and functionality of implemented solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, test cases, and user manuals.
- Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users and administrators, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of the EAM solution.
- Advisory Role: Act as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow EAM, providing guidance and recommendations on platform capabilities and best practices to clients and internal teams.
- Upgrade & Maintenance: Assist with platform upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance activities related to the EAM module.
Preferred Qualifications / Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Experience with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, CSM, FSM, HRSD) is a plus.
- Experience with CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and its relationship to asset management.
- Experience in a consulting environment.
