Responsibilities:
•Design a product security strategy and enhancements to the product architecture for security.
•Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to ensure that the Network Controller Product is secure.
•Plan, develop, implement and update the security threat model for a Network Controller Product
•Identify, define and document product security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
•Support responding to Customer RFPs (Request for Proposals) related to security requirements
•Review Security and Vulnerability and Penetration Scan results and provide approval.
•Monitor security vulnerabilities scan reports for the software and generate tickets to get these vulnerabilities fixed.
•Track the any Security Vulnerability fixes required to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
•Produce Security Reports and Exception documentation for a release when needed. Ensuring the any security vulnerabilities are mitigated/remediated to secure the release.
•Educate and train staff on security best practices.
•Thorough understanding of Kubernetes based Microservices environment
Good to have Knowledge of the following:
•NIST/NVD and the CSSv2/CSSv3 scoring
•Vulnerability and Penetration Testing (ie. NESUS or similar tool)
•Open-Source Scanning tools (ie. Blackduck or similar tool)
