Position Overview:
• The OCM and cutover Lead position will focus on leading the people-side of an S/4HANA transition to ensure successful user adoption and business transformation including managing the cutover for the transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
OCM strategy:
• Develop and execute the end-to-end organizational change management strategy for the S/4HANA implementation.
Change impact and readiness:
• Conduct stakeholder analysis, business process impact assessments, and readiness evaluations to understand and prepare the organization for change.
• Strategies training plans, frameworks and work with training leaders to execute the trainings.
Communication:
• Design and deliver comprehensive communication plans and materials to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
Stakeholder engagement:
• Partner with business leaders and users to build support, address resistance, and foster adoption throughout the transition.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, functional consultants, and technical teams to align change activities with the overall project plan.
Metrics and reporting:
• Track and report on OCM activities, success metrics, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Leading the SAP data migration and cutover strategy across business units and geographies.
• Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all System, transports and data-related aspects, including transformation, validation, and reconciliation from legacy systems to SAP.
• Collaborating with business, functional, and technical teams to define cutover scope, wave plans, and runbooks.
• Ensuring alignment of the cutover approach with project timelines and quality standards.
• Designing and implementing strategy for validation and quality frameworks.
• Managing cutover rehearsals, mock runs, and hyper care support planning.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to minimize business disruption during go-live.
• Managing and mentoring team members, driving cross-functional coordination.
• Reporting on cutover KPIs, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Applying industry best practices, tools, and automation in project execution to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
• Proven OCM experience on SAP S/4HANA transformation programs with multiple implementations.
• Strong Expertise in impact analysis, stakeholder management, and communication.
• Experience developing end-user training strategies.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in fast-paced, multi-regional experience is preferred.
• Experience in Chemical industry is a big plus.
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills are required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading complex IT programs, including SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects.
• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Solid understanding of Cutover planning for SAP go-lives, including mock run cycles and rollback strategies.
• Understanding of data security, privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR), and data retention policies.
• Advanced skills in Excel for data reporting and transformation.
• Experience using project tracking tools like MS Project.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong decision-making, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP Certified Application Specialist (Data Migration or S/4HANA) is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and SAP on Cloud (RISE with SAP) initiatives.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills using data visualization dashboards.
• Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments.
• Ability to drive change management and training initiatives.
