Job Description: The SAP Embedded Analytics Developer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing analytical solutions directly within SAP S/4HANA using native development tools such as CDS views, Fiori elements, and the Virtual Data Model (VDM). The role focuses on translating functional requirements into technical models that deliver real-time insights to the business.
Top 3 Skills –
1. Proficiency in building CDS views—Basic, Composite, Consumption, Analytical, and Cube views with required annotations
2. Expertise in Analytical CDS for KPIs, dimensions, measures, hierarchies, and cubes.
3. Strong experience building OData services using CDS UI/annotation-based, OData V2/V4
Key responsibilities
• Experienced in developing S4HANA ABAP CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption) to support Fiori APP Dashboard/Reports and Extractors for ETL process.
• Knowledge in S4HANA design, especially extension of SAP-provided CDS Views for Embedded Analytics.
• Knowledge of Web Dynpro application
• Knowledge of how to deploy SAP Fiori Apps for Embedded Analytics.
• Strong implementation exposure on VDM(Virtual data model)
• Should be able to build custom reporting applications by using all the capabilities of S/4 HANA Embedded analytics.
• Strong Experience with SAP Web IDE/BAS/hana Studio
• Strong Experience in Odata Services.
• Participate in Fit to standard analysis workshops and suggest the business users and functional consultants for the best possible approaches.
