Job Title: SAP DMC Technical Consultant

Overview: We are seeking a skilled DMC technical consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the application that meets the needs of clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop SAP DMC applications to meet organizations and user’s requirement 
  • Conduct Business Process workshops and analysis (Blueprinting) and develop SAP DMC requirements in conjunction with SAP project team and end users. 
  • Hands-on development of SAP DMC application content
  • Should be able handle independently implementation/Rollout/Support activities
  • Will be responsible for day-to-day development / support tasks
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Skills & Competencies:

Overall, 7 - 9 years of experience in manufacturing technologies.

Should have experience in SAP DMC, Cloud Connector, Productor Connector, Cloud platform integrations.

Good knowledge about SAP UI5, SAP BAS.

Good Knowledge on Cloud Integrations, API management and Manufacturing processes.

Good knowledge of Shop-floor automation & Integration using Production Connector.

Design, Development / Configuration and Enhancement of SAP DMC functionalities.

Good understanding of Cloud Services/ OData services.

Should be familiar with the below concepts and there implementation for SAP DMC :

  • Shop Order, SFC, Production Execution, Traceability.
  • Production Process and their customizations.
  • Lot & Serial manufacturing, Assembling & Confirmation.
  • Inventory - Goods Issue / Receipt (GI/GR).
  • Quality - Inspection, Sampling, Non-Conformance (NC), Disposition Routing, Rework/Scrap, Data collection (DC), Capturing Inspection result & transfer it to ERP/S4Hana
  • POD / UI customization & Scanner Integration.
  • Solution deployment, Go-live preparation & Support.
  • Experience of developing the interfaces – SAP DMC to S/4HANA / ERP/ Automation systems / Machines / Other standalone software’s 
  • Involved in client facing roles starting from requirement gathering for MES with understanding of automation and Integration, fit – gap analysis, solution deployment, UAT & troubleshooting.
  • Should be familiar with AMS support concept.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good knowledge of S/4HANA Integration (SAPMEINT), DRF Framework, RFC & IDOC
  • Good understanding of MII, Transaction, Queries, XML & XSLT
  • Good understanding of NWA & NWDS
  • Experience of developing the interfaces - SAP ME to S/4HANA / Automation systems / Machines / Other standalone software’s
