Job Title: Project Coordinator
Industry: Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI)
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years


Role Overview

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting project planning, execution, and delivery within the BFSI domain. This role involves coordinating between cross-functional teams, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in managing projects in a fast-paced financial environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate communication between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure adherence to BFSI compliance, security, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support project managers in budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Facilitate RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination within BFSI.
  • Strong understanding of banking and financial processes, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM).
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML initiatives in BFSI.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like Basel III, GDPR, or PCI DSS.
