We are looking for a dynamic and experienced DevOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in container orchestration and modern CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo CD, along with a robust understanding of infrastructure as code, automation, and release engineering. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) will be an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
🚀 Container Orchestration ; GitOps (Top Priority):
Architect, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Develop and maintain Helm charts for packaging and deploying containerized applications.
Implement and manage Argo CD to drive GitOps workflows for continuous delivery.
Automate multi-environment Kubernetes application deployments with rollback and drift detection.
🛠 CI/CD Pipeline Ownership
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and integrate with Kubernetes via Argo CD.
Automate quality gates using tools like SonarQube and enforce best practices through CI stages.
🔄 Infrastructure Automation
Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform for multi-cloud environments.
Maintain infrastructure code in Git repositories, integrating with CI/CD and GitOps flows.
Environment Management ; Testing
Create consistent environments across dev, staging, and production using Kubernetes and Helm.
Enable automated testing and validation within CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
Build ; Artifact Management
Use Maven for Java-based builds and manage artifacts using JFrog Artifactory
Scripting ; Automation:
Automate tasks and workflows with Linux shell scripting and DevOps tools
Upgrades ; Migrations
Plan and lead upgrades/migrations of DevOps tools and services with minimal downtime
Required Skills ; Experience
Deep hands-on expertise in
Kubernetes: cluster operations, autoscaling, RBAC, config management, service mesh
Helm: chart creation, templating, release lifecycle management
Argo CD: GitOps-based delivery, synchronization, rollbacks, and app lifecycle
Solid experience with
Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Source control: Git, GitHub
Artifact and build tools: Maven, JFrog Artifactory
Code quality tools: SonarQube
Linux shell scripting
Preferred/Desirable Skills
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) knowledge – provisioning, networking, container engine (OKE)
Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud platforms
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
Awareness of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and debugging skills, especially in distributed systems
Excellent documentation and communication
Ability to drive automation and DevOps culture across teams
Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across functions
