Job Title: Application Support Analyst for PowerBuilder (2017 & 2019), Visual FoxPro 9

Shift Timing: 5:00 PM -2:00 AM IST

Location: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Noida, Hyderabad

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to provide technical support and maintenance for applications developed using PowerBuilder (2017 & 2019), Visual FoxPro 9, with Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience in legacy and modern application environments, and a solid understanding of relational databases

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support & Maintenance:

• Provide Level 2 and 3 support for PowerBuilder and Visual FoxPro applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues promptly.
  Monitor application health and implement fixes or enhancements as needed.

Development & Integration Support:

• Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing PowerBuilder and Visual FoxPro applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy patches, updates, and new features.
• Support integration with Microsoft SQL Server and other applications.

Database Management:

• Work with Microsoft SQL Server for data management, optimization, and performance tuning.Create and maintain queries, stored procedures, and reports as needed.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate documentation for application configurations, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for AI, automation and process optimization.
  Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience with PowerBuilder 2017 and PowerBuilder 2019.
• Strong knowledge of Visual FoxPro 9 and legacy application support.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience with AI coding and automation tools.
• Familiarity with application support processes, incident management, and SDLC.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with migration projects involving PowerBuilder or Visual FoxPro applications.
• Exposure to reporting tools and integration with applications.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
