Job Title: Application Packaging Engineer Expert

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Application Packaging Engineer to design, package, test, and deploy software applications for enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with packaging tools, software deployment technologies, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package applications using tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM (MECM), AdminStudio, InstallShield, or Wise Package Studio
• Create and maintain MSI, MSIX, and EXE installers
• Perform application virtualization (e.g., App-V, VMware ThinApp)
• Conduct application testing, troubleshooting, and debugging
• Ensure compatibility with different versions of Windows OS environments
• Manage software deployment, upgrades, and patching
• Work with IT teams to ensure smooth deployment via Active Directory and Group Policy
• Maintain proper documentation for packaged applications
• Follow enterprise security and compliance standards
• Provide support for packaging-related issues and incidents

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 7–9 years of experience in application packaging
• Strong knowledge of Windows Installer (MSI/MSIX)
• Basic to advanced PowerShell / scripting knowledge
• Experience with software deployment tools (SCCM/MECM, Intune)
• Understanding of registry, file system, and OS internals
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Intune
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Microsoft certifications (Endpoint Manager or related)
